Canadian-based photographer Ethan Eisenberg has photographed over the last two years in the Gaza Strip, an area affected by the 1993 Israel - PLO peace accord.
According to the "Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements" (the "DOP"), Palestinian self-rule in the Gaza and West Bank is to be phased in over five years, with the final status negotiations to begin this year.
The Gaza Strip, a 360-square-kilometer area in between Israel and Egypt, is populated by over 800,000 Palestinians and approximately 4,800 Jewish settlers, who live in an area called Gush Katif.
