About the Photographer
Scott Thode's photographs have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, LIFE Magazine, The Independent, GEO and many other North American and European publications. A recipient of numerous photography awards, Scott received his undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and his M.F.A. degree at the University of Washington.
His work has been exhibited at The Colonnade Gallery in Washington, D.C, and
at Visa Pour L'Image in Perpignon, France. He has also participated in
a variety of group exhibits in the United States and Europe.
Scott lives in New York City with his wife, Kathy Ryan, his daughter Sylvie
and their dog, Buster.
