George Harrison, The Coconut Monk

The psychedelic portrait of Beatle George Harrison is absolutely spectacular in every way. It boldly captures the compelling mood of the "Mystic Beatle" and the brilliance of his music and the band!

To bad the guy didn't like the picture of Harrison or the Beatles, how lonely can a person get. The picture will been seen and admired forever.................

The images are stupendous! I visited Dao Dua in '74 and am writing a graduate thesis on his work. Any information on this very important figure would be tremendously appreciated.

I do not care much for picture of G.H. (as I have never liked the band in the first place) but if one looks closely on the monk's picture (preferably in the album, as the web page no not shows enough of details)I must admit I have never seen this quality in any portrait. I do not know how it is achieved but the skin is glowing and he seems alive on this print. Most of the portraits I have ever seen are just "pictures" - here the life seems captured by some devil's trick
