Washington, D.C.: Reagan National Airport
Alex
Chadwick: Tell me a little bit about yourself.
Rayna Blake: For 50 cents!? C'mon!
Alex Chadwick: What is it about your life that leads you
to vote the way that you do for president?
Rayna Blake: Because my father in heaven would roll over
if I voted for a Republican.
Alex Chadwick: If you could vote for anybody for president
-
Matt Braun: Anybody, like anybody I know?
Alex Chadwick: Yeah, anybody you know.
Matt Braun: I'd say my first grade teacher.
Alex Chadwick: Your first grade teacher?
Matt Braun: Yep. Miss Thomas. She is absolutely the coolest
person in the world. And she, like, knows everything. Well, at least
she did in first grade.
Eric Lotke: It troubles me that I'm seriously considering
not voting. I don't know if I can actually pull it off. I feel like
our democracy is broken and that worries me gravely. What is it
going to be? Half the country isn't going to vote?
Alex
Chadwick: You're in the performing arts?
Gary Swindell : Yes. Yes. I'm a blues singer. Yes.
Alex Chadwick: A blues singer?
Gary Swindell: Yes. Yes. [Starts singing] "You dad gone
government, sorry so-and-so's, you got your darn hands in every
pocket of my clothes. Well, you dad gone - you know, and so on and
so on. Yeah.
Alex Chadwick: Well, that's a good election song.
Gary Swindell : Yeah.
