Beginning with the Commonwealth Games in 1998, London-based photographers Jonathan Anderson and Edwin Low set out to capture the face of the modern athlete. Thousands of rolls of film and hundreds of athletes later, this two-year body of work has been exhibited worldwide and will be on display during the Sydney Olympics. The Athlete offers viewers a look into the private rigors, discipline, joys and pain of the athletic journey. Coming on September 7.
