hotographer and writer Jennifer Loomis traveled throughout Africa early this year working on a variety of stories. Armed with a scanner, camera, and tape recorder, she has been spending most of her time in Kenya and Rwanda. Journal E asked Jennifer to find stories which spoke to the issue of how women live and perceive themselves in those countries.
Rift Valley Dreams, a simple tale of two young girls, Risper and Lillian, who live under the same roof in the town of Iten in Kenya, is her first dispatch.
