ight now, Risper is content with her dreams. And for the next four
years she is determined to study hard and be a good example for her
brothers and sisters who also want to study abroad. Today her life is
still simple. Her favorite activities are singing and playing with her
friends and sisters. She has no desire for a boyfriend because she
thinks that this will interfere with her plans for a career, a
legitimate fear because many girls get pregnant at a young age and drop
out of school. She goes to church every Sunday and tends to her house
and siblings.
"I am very happy," she says in a soft voice to me as the
dawn begins to creep into the window of the kitchen, "that is my dream,
to be happy forever."
