I made the decision then to grab my daughter and get the hell out
of the building. I was later criticized and applauded for making
such a decision. We ran down a flight of stairs and left through
a south side exit. We immediately witnessed pretty rough stuff.
A partial body of a young man was no more than 50 feet from us (some
100 ft. from the tower). There were other bodies but a lot closer
to the building. I learned later that when the fuel tanks exploded
on crashing into the 92nd floor, most people on that floor were
completely blown out of the building some 75-100 feet out before
they descended down to the ground.
