After the fall of the Berlin Wall, photographer Geoffrey Hiller wanted to see how the people of the former Eastern Bloc were doing under their new governments. Traveling through Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Poland in the winter of 1992, he gathered his impressions on film. Oregon-based Hiller, who also works as a new media developer, put together his work with writer Lev Liberman in this hypnotic Shockwave Flash presentation.
