Located in New York City, the children's group home known as the Steinway Community Residence is home to eight emotionally disturbed children aged 9-12. The children are placed in the home because their parents or guardians are unable to adequately shelter and financially support them or cannot provide a safe and stable home environment Usually the parents do not understand and cannot cope with the demands of an emotionally disturbed child.
