We
have since moved away from Battery Park City. We were lucky our
one-year-lease on our apartment was up at the end of October. My
wife was very concerned about our daughter's state of mind, going
back into a tall building (we were on the 25th floor) and reminders
daily of what has happened. My daughter went through quite a bit.
In the long run, my wife was also worried about the air quality,
which as of today is still a major issue of concern.
We moved to the east side on 31st Street and Lexington Ave. We now
live on the fourth floor. Karly is doing much better and time will
take care of all things. The state of alert has escalated, though.
Especially when Karly and I are in the subways. If something were
to happen, there is almost no way to get out.
