Welcome
to Family Album on Musarium, where you can experience some memorable moments
of our history through the photographic magic of the portrait camera. We invite you to look through geneologic snapshots of time through photographs submitted by Musarium viewers. Our latest selection of photographs comes from Arlington, Virginia resident Forrest MacCormack, who received a collection of negatives from his mother of his family in South Boston, Virginia. The Guill family are most likely French Huguenots that emigrated from France in the later part of the 1700's or early 1800's. We invite you to submit your own historical family photographs - we want to put together a collection of first and second-generation immigrant families to the United States and share our common experiences in settling this country through these snapshots in time.
